How to Read Garment Sizing (XS-5X)

Every wearable pattern in our shop lists finished bust measurements, not body measurements - and understanding the difference will save you from re-making a whole garment.

Start by measuring your actual bust, then check the pattern's 'positive ease' recommendation to decide how loose or fitted you want the finished piece to be before picking your size.

When in doubt, size up - it's much easier to block a slightly large garment than to unravel a too-small one.
