Care Guide

Washing & Blocking Your Finished Pieces

Blocking is the finishing step most beginners skip - and it's the difference between a homemade look and a handmade one. A quick soak and pin-out evens stitches and sets the drape of your finished piece.

Always check your yarn label before washing: most natural fibers benefit from a gentle hand wash and lying flat to dry, while acrylics can typically go through a gentle machine cycle.

Store finished garments folded, not hung, to avoid stretching out the shoulders over time.
